Everyday, as digital technology grows, we face government and corporate practices that threaten to deny our civil liberties in cyberspace. There is a misconception that the activities of the EFF are in opposition to intellectual property rights. I fully support content creators IP rights and I condemn the criminal use of any technology including the unlawful theft of music and motion pictures. Among the various activities, EFF educates policymakers and the public, undertakes court cases preserving individuals' rights, engages the press regularly, and publishes a comprehensive archive of digital civil liberties information at their website. Please consider joining and supporting this worthwhile organization.

SETI@home is a scientific experiment that harnesses the power of hundreds of thousands of Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data. There's a small but captivating possibility that your computer will detect the faint murmur of a civilization beyond Earth. Let me know if I can run seti on your machine. I am now over 10000data units.
